01 Jul Winter Looks To Transform Your Cold Weather Wardrobe!
Welcome to July, the half way points between what just happened and let’s get it done – don’t you think?
At this point I am crossing fingers you’ve managed to adjust to the new season resurrecting your favourite warmers and knitwear stored at the back of the cupboard. With winter comes a natural evolving cycle of feel good food and comfort within our home space, weekends spent rugged up around warm fireplaces and long brunches with friends (when we’re not in and out of lockdown).
When it comes to the cooler months, I find Australian fashion labels deliver on value without compromising quality. For many years now I have enjoyed the styles, fit and price point of labels like Witchery Fashion. Having worn the simplistic and chic label for over twenty years it’s a safe bet the brand has delivered comfort without compromising style.
Altering your dress code as you age can be tricky. What worked for Friday night drinks years ago doesn’t resonate with a wardrobe needing to fit into a life packed with school drop offs and having to dress for the Saturday sports run with the kids. Nowadays it’s a cosy covid-19 style I seek to suit that has the ability to transition with ease from zoom calls with clients to my Personal Styling in the centres too!
In this edition we cover ‘What You Want to be Wearing Now’ with Aussie brand Witchery, and how they have managed to pivot with styles and sizes ranging 4-16 to suit our various body changes, making that transition from date nights to a post pregnant body that much easier. This season’s styles look beyond trends bringing back a blend of comfort meets luxe feels, favouring soft sorbet coloured ensembles, flirty leather pieces and subtle office appropriate prints. We update and refresh your accessories with our ‘Accessories Seal The Deal’ article and cover 3 Winter Looks To Transform Your Cold Weather Wardrobe.
P.S Our aim has always been to keep it real and within reach for all our readers, subscribers and followers. All suggestions on products, accessories and clothes have been personally selected and by no means paid or endorsed.
With warm cosy hugs,

3 Winter Looks to Transform Your Cold Weather Wardrobe
Struggling with how to update your seasons look? With online sites and stores in abundance of options the choices can be paralyzing. Here are three easy pieces you can apply to your wardrobe now, and then add your own bits and baubles to complete your looks.
Accessories Seal The Deal
What would you say if I told you the key difference between wearing expensive clothes and looking like you’re wearing expensive clothes is all about the way you accessorise? Yep, a little known stylist fact I learnt early on in life was “The right accessories can make even the most basic t-shirt and jeans outfit look glammed up”. Use your accessories to transform your outfits and add interest to any monochrome winter look.
Bag – I adore a season’s change with unlimited styling options that have the ability to create various looks for your outfits. Be it a day-to-day in duck egg blue or State of Escape’s Crossbody bag, the pop of blue will stand out amongst the darker hues worn during winter.
Belt – Often the most overlooked item in your wardrobe ends up as the hero piece to any outfit. There are so many reasons to love a belt. Adding a belt will highlight and cinch your waist, create a statement and almost always complete the look to any outfit.
